Oh so true. I grew up in Nebraska and the joke always was "if you don't like the weather, wait a couple of hours." I thought it was a Nebraska saying/thing. Then we moved over to Iowa and one day someone said it about the weather "here." I was almost going to argue with them that it's a Nebraska thing. Then I got a grip on reality and noticed that only 300 yards of river separates the two ecosystems, so it would be entirely possible that weather would change in Iowa as fast as it does in Nebraska.
Thanks for stopping by! Let me introduce myself… I have been married for 8 1/2 years and have a 7 year old son- I don’t think I could love anyone more than these two boys! We live in a small house in a small town in SW Iowa. I used to be an elementary teacher but now I spend my days as a home based educator. We have 2 dogs, a cat, a hermit crab, and a bearded dragon that live with us and help keep the house messy. We are a busy and on-the-go family that always has a story to tell.
