2 Must Have CD's for little ones

After reading about the Choo-Choo Soul CD on one of the many blogs I read, I decided to give it a try. All 3 of us sing the songs that we often hear in between shows on Playhouse Disney and B is such a train nut it was hard to pass up. I can't find the blog that originally posted about it but they loved the cd. I ordered it online and was happy to see that it came in a cd/ dvd combo. You get 13 songs on the cd and 10 on the dvd for around $11. The music and Genevieve are great to listen to and easy for parents as well. It's got a hip hop feel with educational lyrics. I also like to put the dvd in and get down with a little boogie with the daycare kids. Talk about a dance party!

The second one is for quiet time, nap time, or bed time. When I lay the kids down for their naps I often turn on the AOL music station to the lullabies station. I first heard an instrumental song that sounded like Johnny Cash and had to go to the computer to see what it was... I was right! It was "Walk the Line". A few days later I heard another song and it was "Folsom Prison Blues". I ordered the cd that day. They are such soft lullabye renditions that is easy for the parents to listen along to.

The "Hushabye Baby" collection also has other artists available. I have seen Carrie Underwood, George Straight, and I think one more online.

Let me know if you have either one of these and what you think!
